Installing railings on your own doesn’t have to be a daunting task. To begin, measure the length of each stair and cut the railing material according to specifications. If working with aluminum, use brass or stainless steel screws, while for wooden railings, use galvanized nails. Attach the top and bottom brackets along each stair or wall at the appropriate positions, mount and secure the railings using fasteners, and make any necessary modifications before giving it a final coat of paint or varnish. With time and patience, you should be able to install railings successfully in no time.
